So, I jumped ship from the AirTag to a credit-card-sized rechargeable tracker—and honestly, it makes much more sense for my wallet.
AirTags work great, but they simply don’t fit well in a wallet. The wallet-sized design solves that immediately, and recharging is a huge plus. Replacing the battery in an AirTag isn't exactly for the faint of heart!
I have an Apple iPhone, so connecting the tracker and using it with Find My was easy. Not every feature works exactly like an AirTag, but the feature I really care about does: Find My. That's the whole reason I need a tracker in my wallet.
The audio is also surprisingly loud, which makes finding it much easier.
Battery life has been excellent—several months between charges—and recharging is simple. A larger wireless charging pad works great, but I've even used my Apple Watch charger to charge it.
For me, this is one of those products where the simple change in form factor makes a big difference. Wallet-sized + rechargeable + Find My = exactly what I wanted.
